The Goner founder Daniel Westerlund and (former) Goner-member Johan Knudsen is proud to be part of a theatre production of Stora Landsvägen, originally by August Strindberg, but for this occasion thoroughly re-written by poet and playwright Annika Boholm. Westerlund/Knudsen provide the musical score for the play – all new and original material – which includes drones, “folk rave” and hip hop (!).
The play is directed by Ulf Friberg and opens 15th of February. For info (in Swedish) and tickets, click here. Stora Landsvägen Goes Gottsunda is primarily aimed at teenagers ages 13 and up, but everybody is welcome!
