Today we will celebrate the birth of E GONEs new website. E GONE will continue to explore a lot of the same musical territory that The Goner did, but from a different perspective.

Due to a cluster of issues The Goner has decided to split-up. No need to get upset. We’re ok, you’re ok, if you meet the Buddha down the road, tell him we said hi, be here now, and furtherwards.
We’ve uploaded a demo from the album we were working on before the split up, available as a free download, on Bandcamp. To whom it may concern: this is our goodbye:

Daniel Westerlunds new project TANDEM BRIDGES (a duo with Anita Livstrand) is proud to be part of the massive tribute album For Lee Jackson in Space that was launched today on Bandcamp.

From the press release: “[The album] pays tribute to Texan writer and cultural enthusiast Lee Jackson, famed for his co-creation of the noted Broken Face fanzine with Swedish writer Mats Gustafsson.

Hellon Chord Organ Blues släppte den mestadels instrumentala skivan Hellon Chord Organ Blues (Spotify, Itunes) förra året och har också släppt två sjutumsvinyler som Hellon 2003 & 2005.
Baserat på låtar från Eva Lalander (Eve and the Last Waltz) och Mats Grönmark (solo, Burek V) har HCOB för detta tillfälle utökats med Robert Karlsson på trummor och orgel och Jerker Bergkvist (My Way) på gitarr.
Mats Grönmark släppte i april i år sitt andra album Roller Coaster Blues och 2011 släppte Eve and the Last Waltz sitt fjärde album Turpentine.

The Goner spelar en egen hybrid av indierock, psykedelia och folkrock. Tidigare i år släpptes singlarna Sun on Stone och Hello Friend, Today I Will Sing Beautifully For You. Hemsida:http://www.thegoner.com/
